How does the digital section toll for the Brenner motorway work?
When ordering the Brenner motorway section toll via the ADAC toll portal, the vehicle license plate number is requested and saved.
When passing through the Schönberg toll station, the electronic license plate number recognition system then takes effect and allows you to pass without stopping. A lane specially designated for the section toll and marked in green enables fast, congestion-free passage.
Note: With a valid section toll, you are also permitted to drive in the Go lane (normally reserved for vehicles > 3.5t) on the Brenner motorway.
